In Loving Memory Of
John Paul Jones
November 29, 1916 to November 09, 1997
A Wonderful Husband, Father,
Grandfather and Great-Grand Father

If you ever needed anything he was the man to go to.
A loving, strong man that was wise beyond his years.
He loved his family, especially his dog Jack.
He spent many days enjoying life at Clark Hill lake,
fishing and riding in his boat.
He married young to a women named Lousie,
They spent many wonderfull years together and raised
Three children
and had 6 grandchildren, and
3 great-grandchildren
All those who knew him called him
"Johnny"

God saw he was getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around him,
and said, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched,
and saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.
A precious heart stopped beating,
gentle hands came to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Isaiah 40:31
"Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary."

I am Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm Free
I'm Following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work, or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee.
God wanted me now; He set me free!
